We want your shoes! Every pair of gently new and gently worn shoes you donate turns into funds for our cause!
For each bag of 25 pairs of shoes we collect, Paws For Life USA will receive a small donation. Our goal is to collect 200 Bags of shoes. That is 5000 pairs of shoes, so we need your help.
All you have to do is drop off your gently worn or brand new shoes to our drop off location and that is it. You get more space in your closet and we get some much needed funds to place service animals with people with disabilities and people in other countries get to sell these shoes to earn some money and independence. It’s a 4 Paws Up for everyone.

There is a dog crate in front of the school you can drop your bag of shoes off inside. And be sure when dropping them to do a selfie- post on social media with the #pflusawedonatedshoes

WE HAVE YURT # 14 RIGHT ON THE LAKE
ENTRANCE TO THE PARK REQUIRES A $20 PER VEHICLE PARKING FEE
When you get to the campground you must register with the campground office before coming to Yurt 14 site.
YURT SLEEPS 8
Yurts, made of wood and canvas, provide a comfortable camping experience and feature outside decks, picnic tables, charcoal grill, metal fire pit, and a water spigot for your convenience. Inside, you will find log furniture, heat/air conditioning, electrical outlets, large windows, skylight, ceiling fan, lockable doors, and sleeps up to five guests all for your comfort. You will only need to bring sleeping bags or linens, and personal items. Guests are permitted to bring small refrigerators or coolers if desired.
Our Yurts are smoke free so there is no smoking inside or on the decks of the Yurt. Pets are not permitted in or outside the Yurt. Stone Mountain Park’s Yurts are charmingly furnished and the view from both the inside and the outside is nothing less than spectacular. Yurts are not equipped with restrooms, but are conveniently located adjacent to facilities. Service dogs are permitted.
Bring your Canoe, Kayak, Waterboard or other floatation device as we can launch right onto the lake from the Yurt. If you have missed working with your dogs at the pool then now is the time to teach them to swim. Dogs will need to be on a long line so remember to bring one. Humans cannot swim in the lake but the dogs can. REI has a rental facility if you wish to rent a boat or other there. REI Boathouse at (404) 859-3800. Reserve your equipment now. Remember life vests for your dogs.
Those who wish to stay and camp for the night are more than welcome just bring your camping equipment. Only 5 per night. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are available.

ANIMALS DESERVE BETTER WILL PROVIDE, WATER AND ICE. Bring any other items as we have a charcoal grill and a fire pit.
