Therapy Dog Program Instructor Marine Feron of Animals Deserve Better| Paws for Life Atlanta GeorgiaMarine Feron, Volunteer & Therapy Dog Instructor

I have known Kimberly since adopting my family’s first dog in 2005. In high school, I completed over four hundred hours of community service, many of which involved fostering puppies and working at Petsmart on Sundays, helping Kimberly adopt dogs out to loving homes. Since my sophomore year, 2007-2008, I have tried to attend every “Petsmart” Sunday. After graduating from high school, I was able to start really working; I helped name litters of puppies, and started fostering dogs on my own. As a result, I started doing home visits, which complete the adoption process. Now, I help socialize dogs and have rehabilitated two who needed particular care. I also help puppies practice basic training whenever the opportunity arises. I have also lead several Therapy Dog Classes.
Outside of work with Animals Deserve Better, Paws for Life, I have now Graduated from Georgia State University with a Degree in  Literary Studies.  I also keep a position as a freelance copy-editor for technical writing in any subject. I plan on graduating with my bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2014, hopefully to continue on to graduate school, all while maintaining my work with Animals Deserve Better, Paws for Life. “It’s for a good paws!”
